A beautiful fly reel that combines the best in Britisch and American fly reel technology. The DXR is designed by Orvis and made in USA by Ross. Super smooth drag system with high resistance to heat and contamination. The lever operated drag can be adjusted easily with your palming fingers, without groping for a tiny knob. The drag has 15 positive detents, with a small amount of linear drag change for any click. Quick change, positive-locking spools can be changed instantly without the use of tools. Stainless steel counterweight. Frame, spool and foot are machined from highly corrosion-resistant, aircraft grade aluminium bar stock then hard-anodized for additional abrasion and corrosion resistance. All parts are stainless steel. In near to mint condition, it comes with the line mounted. Ready to fish.
